1. A Time to think: "Never play a thing the same way twice" Louis Armstrong
2. A Time to Act: "Never outgrow fun"
3. A Time to Pray: "Lord, teach me to see in the hurdles of today the training ground of hope for tomorrow."
********************* Let the Games Begin! *******************************
1. "Never play a thing the same way twice" Louis Armstrong
The thinking man would say : "Why, it's impossible to play something the same way twice, or do ANYTHING the same way twice, that is proposterous". Well, that guy thinks too much, so we're going to simplify and ease up on some of the non-thinkers of the world. For example: I've seen my roommate play "obnoxious, drunk, Nebraskan asshole", many a moon. So, although he may not drink the same thing, or go about it the same way, it's still the same conceptual approach to the art of being a turd. So, I guess all in all, if you're trying to compete for......money, or to be the best at what you do....then I suggest being creative. However, if you are aiming for consistency in something like "being hated by all", then stick with what works.....and keep on tootin that finely tuned instrument.....or thing, that you've become so consistent at~
2. "Never outgrow fun"
Though, it is absolutely vital to not outgrow fun, it is more vital to not outgrow "good" fun. (Like sex for all you old people, which is probably all of "0" who read this gospel in a jar....). Or if you outgrow the need for money to have fun. Don't get me wrong, you've read this stuff and have seen how the simple things in life are what entertain some of us most....(if you've ever read a whole article on this site, you fall under this category....and you're my hero.......both of you~). But it's important to mix it up, because if all you do is "crap" for fun (not literally)....then you probably don't spend much money on that crap. Like if you go hike in the mountains for fun......all the time, and in crappy mountains, then you have the susceptibility of turning into a hippie...(because you probably grow your hair out for fun too....and don't take showers).
So even though the small, stupid things are definitely my favorite, don' t be scared to blow a buck (not literally), on something upscale and unusual....that way you don't take your "crap" for granted.
3. "Lord, teach me to see in the hurdles of today, the training ground of hope for tomorrow."
Better yet, Lord, teach me to be that 6' 7" Olympian hurdler running a 50 meter race of High School Girl hurdles....that is REALLY what we are hoping for right now.

Our mind is the most powerful element of our existence. What you are today is mainly based up on how your mind has been for all these years.
Mind is very powerful. It is an element that works day & night. It is something we find beyond our control. But is it really impossible to control our mind? No, we can control our mind. It needs some practice and a firm will to do so. Controlling mind is mainly possible with the help of spiritual efforts. Since milleniums Indian philosophy has considered mind as the prime element of our state of existence.
We must cultivate our mind to remain well balanced and in harmony with our action. You must have often experienced that when you are about to start a new task, if your mind starts going on a negative track, the result is negative. There are lots of people who see all the events from a very negative perspective... their mind is set like that. Some people look very youthful in their fifties and some look old in their early thirties. This is because of their basic state of mind.
We have to know our mind thouroughly. We must be able to analyse the ongoing processes of our mind. The biggest job a real Guru does is taking care of his desciples mind. For that he uses his spiritual as well as worldly knowledge.
Power of mind is very much experienced when we are sick. Our line of positive thinking and healthy suggestions passed on to our body helps in a faster recovery.
So, dear Atman, just start knowing your own mind from today. Gradually you will know wonderful things you have never known before.
May Shiv Shakti Bless You.
Love from
Shri Yogesh
